Abdominal Cramping ~ Illness however mild or severe is an indicator of your emotional state, caused by your thoughts and focus.

According to experts at NHS Choices; abdominal cramping is “a stomach ache, and is a term often used to refer to cramps or a dull ache in the tummy (abdomen). It’s usually short-lived and is often not serious”.

There is also the body mind connection that is something else to consider during the onset of abdominal cramps and what meaning it may have in your life. Famed author of the book “You can heal your life” Louise Hay believes that they are actually a symptom of fear. You may actually get stomach cramps during an important time(s) because you may see it as something that would help you stop a process that you fear. She says that the stomach is actually accountable for digesting all of the new ideas and experiences we have. So you may consider asking yourself what or who cant you stomach? What gets you in the gut? When there are stomach problems it usually means we don’t know how to assimilate the new experience and we are afraid.

Stomach Cramps

The number one cause of fear and anxiety is not knowing, the unknown and living with your mind in the future. Here are some questions that may help you down a path of discovery and healing/health.

  1. Get clear in your mind what it is that you’re afraid of. Ask questions like, “What about that scares me?”
  2. Become aware of your self-talk. What are you saying to yourself that scares you?
  3. Exaggerate the bad consequences you fear. Begin to recognize that you were probably already exaggerating and didn’t know it and that what you feared is indeed and exaggeration already.
  4. Visualize yourself still being afraid, but handling the situation in an acceptable manner.
  5. Gradually expose yourself to the feared situation by doing things that more and more closely approximate what you fear.

It is often helpful to talk to a close friend about your fears. It’s amazing how a fear can sometimes disappear after a conversation with someone you trust. If you have some concerns about your fears and want to talk to someone other than a friend, family, or coworker, there are many helpful counseling offices willing to help on a sliding pay scale or even free sessions according to your current income. ~ Florida Counseling & Wellness Center.

Here are some remedies that can help bring you relief from the pain and discomfort that’s making you miserable.

  • Chamomile Tea. …
  • Use a “Hot” Pack. …
  • Rice Water. …
  • Enjoy Some Mint. …
  • Warm Lemon Water. …

Fear and anger have another function besides pinning blame on others and ourselves whether real or imagined. They are also the emotions that say “NO!”  It may be an angry “no” or a fearful “no” but a “no” either way.  Though it can be difficult to imagine our fully healed states – just as a caterpillar can’t imagine itself as a butterfly – I believe there will still be choices to be made. We will still need the voice of intuition to say “yes” or “no” in order to let us know which choice would help us serve our higher purpose or lead us toward greater joy and fulfillment. ~ “Understanding Fear Metaphysical”

Remember the days when you were told to eat your veggies? Most people don’t have to many fond memories of those long dinner moments hoping that those squishy tasteless things would stop appearing on our plates. Now fast forward to being and adult. Young adults mainly have more than likely omitted them completely from their diets in luie of pizza and microwave foods. Only to find out that when they get into their late 20’s early 30’s that they are getting bigger, have less energy and have more allergies and god forbid wrinkles!!! No worries, modern science has a cure for that. Liposuction, energy shots and botox go a long way!! Or does it?

When did we decide that we should fight with nature tooth and nail? Isn’t Mother Nature from which hence we were sprung? There is a movement happening though. A movement of “Earthies” Sure some do weird chanting and wear odd clothing and hairstyles to make you jump back, but I believe that those people were the hard core first movement to try and bring back what we have lost in our “modern” area. 

New “Earthies” are actually getting pretty cool and damn sexy if I don’t say so myself. I mean who finds an overweight 30 something with bad skin sexy? If you truly and I mean truly want to be hot for ever? Start looking at what you are doing to your body. Every cell in our body needs to be replaced by new cells (apoptosis). Its the programming of cellular death. Where there is death there is new life, but only if you give your body the correct building blocks to do it.

The biggest thing about cellular renewal and death is that if your cells are not being fed by the proper ingredients from mother earth (from hence with which we all sprung); then you are only creating bad cells in your body. Kind of like zombi cells that will only wreak havok in your system. They will make you sick with diseases and eventually cancers. All of which are immune disorders. When we look at plants such as herbs and fruits and vegtibles that are grown in a sustainable manor (without pesticides and GMO). These plants actually have the building blocks inside of them to give back to us. To fill the holes in the chain of life. If you want some proof then here are some examples.

Of course the most famous Raw Foodie I know is of course Demi Moore at 51!! The first time I started to research youthfulness and what famous people were doing I came across Demi’s diet. I had never heard of this Raw food craze and thought is was totally weird. I mean who doesn’t cook their food? Well youthful people thats who!! It keeps the enzymes alive in it. That is the elixer of life!

Now, what do you really ponder about putting dead flesh inside of your own to recreate your cells? Herbalist theory on meat is this: Your stomach has a special coating to protect itself from the Hydrochloric Acid within its walls. When it senses the meat you eat inside of it; it then takes away some of the lining to protect the meat from being affected by the Acid and therefore is really not injested. So now you know why it really does nothing for you. Not to mention that raising animals for meat has become a nightmare of slaughter houses for these poor animals as well as produce more of a carbon footprint just to raise it, feed it, transport it. Weather you are a part time vegetarian, a Vegan, or a Raw Foodie, is all in how you truly “feel” at the end of the day.

There are a multitude of  things in which I am working on, and it seems that year to year they only get busier and bigger, and yet it would almost seem that being a woman just gets into the way of what you want to accomplish. After raising children (and sometimes our husbands), school time, carpooling, bake sales, yard work, laundry, and choosing healthy meal that everyone is willing eat; to having a perfectly beautiful home and body. Its a lot of work that is quite simply stressing the hell out of us and killing us.

So at the end of the day it really is no surprise that women are finding that they are returning to the old ways, and maybe even don’t realize it.

Unfortunately, we as women have also gotten caught up in the modernization of the western culture. We may have a lot of fancy things (and I do like fancy things), but somewhere along the line we have forgotten our old ways. Ways that even not too far off that our grandmothers still knew.

How to not only make meals that were good for her family but actually produced it in her back yard!

I want to revisit this old information. I believe that we could really benefit from the old knowledge. Some how our ancestors simply knew of our deep connection with the earth. Those plants out there that grow wild strong and free have the capability to do the same for your body and energy. If you feed yourself properly without the modern chemical cocktail laiden you will be healthy, you will be a normal weight, you will not get sick.

I think that if anything is worth the investigation. With ailing parents, grumpy husbands and children with ADD, ADHD, Autism, Cancers, I could go on. To think that we have gotten so smart that we forgot what we first learned. Kinda like when you take a course and you have to go back and review what you took in the beginning in order to pass the final exam. Well this is where we are at.
